Life Is Struggle, Happiness Is Contentment

And here we are caught between the two. We must struggle to live, yet we must relax and know contentment to actually enjoy living. How does one manage to carry out those two ‘projects’ without becoming neurotic? Continue reading ‘Life Is Struggle, Happiness Is Contentment’

What’s With All The Hair?

Why does it keep growing?

Ok, I know. I’ve let myself go a little lately. In the past I’ve taken to cut off my hair – usually all of it – when it felt uncomfortable. That usually happened on one hot day while toiling outside. I now know enough to know that I don’t know. Further more, I know that anything I say just proves that point. So, why do I post? The answer is elegant in its simplicity: I am either gossiping, or ‘raising the alarm’. I can trace both of these root causes squarely back to the biology of social species.  That’s what ants do, chimps do, duck do… Continue reading ‘Those Who Speak Do Not Know. So, Why Speak?’
