Such an ecumenical world view is not the way of a tribal species such as ourselves, or ants for that matter. True, <a href="http://www.centertao.org/tao-te-ching/dc-lau/#chapter-79" rel="nofollow">it is the way of heaven to show no favoritism</a>. However, that's a tall order for anything that <em>is something</em> however. Heck, even water molecules show favoritism toward each other (especially noticeable when mixed with oil). I suppose it does, but such impartiality is not what adherents in those fields seek; indeed, they often seek just the opposite.
